Terms of use

These terms explain how you may use NodeBridge IT, a free service that helps businesses understand managed IT services and connect with an independent provider. Please read them before using the site or contacting us.

Who we are, and what this site does

NodeBridge IT is a free matching service. We share general educational information about managed IT services and help businesses connect with an independent managed IT services provider, also called an MSP, which means a company that remotely supports and manages business technology under an ongoing service agreement.

We are not an MSP, IT company, cybersecurity firm, law firm, insurance broker, or compliance consultant. We do not monitor, manage, secure, repair, or access your systems, devices, accounts, or network. We do not take custody of your data, and we do not ask for passwords, network credentials, or system access.

By using this site, you understand that our role is limited to education and matching. Any provider you choose is a separate business, with its own services, pricing, contract terms, staff, tools, and policies.

Educational information only, not professional advice

The content on this site is for general information only. It is meant to help business owners and office managers understand common managed IT topics in plain language.

Nothing on this site is IT, cybersecurity, legal, tax, insurance, accounting, or regulatory compliance advice. For example, if you need help understanding a contract, a service level agreement, or SLA, which means the written service commitments in a provider agreement, you should review it with the right professional adviser.

Requirements vary by business, industry, and state. Rules related to health data, payment cards, employee information, privacy notices, or vendor contracts may apply differently to your business. You are responsible for deciding what advice you need before acting on any information from this site.

No guarantees about providers, uptime, security, or results

We try to present useful, honest information and introduce businesses to participating providers we believe may be a reasonable fit. Still, we do not guarantee that any provider is right for you, available in your area, or able to meet your budget, schedule, or technical needs.

We do not guarantee service quality, response times, pricing, compatibility, project outcomes, uptime, data recovery, legal compliance, or cybersecurity results. No honest provider promises zero downtime or an unhackable network, and we do not make those promises either.

Any examples on this site are general illustrations, not promises. Cost ranges, feature descriptions, and common practices are not quotes or offers. The real number and the real scope depend on your headcount, devices, locations, security needs, industry requirements, and local market.

Your responsibility when choosing and working with a provider

You are responsible for choosing, vetting, and hiring any provider you decide to contact. That includes checking licenses if relevant, asking about experience in your industry, reviewing the contract, confirming insurance, understanding what is and is not included, and deciding whether the provider's approach fits your business.

You should ask direct questions before signing anything. For example, ask who handles support after hours, what onboarding includes, how backups are checked, what tools are used on your devices, and what happens if you want to leave. If a provider mentions multi-factor authentication, or MFA, that means a second sign-in step beyond a password. If they mention endpoint detection and response, or EDR, that means software that watches business devices for suspicious activity. If they mention remote monitoring and management, or RMM, that means software used by providers to watch device health and perform support tasks remotely.

You also decide what information to share with any provider. Do not send passwords or administrator access to NodeBridge IT. We only ever need basic business and contact details so we can understand your situation and help you find a provider.

Fees, third-party relationships, and site use

Our service is free for businesses using it. Participating providers pay NodeBridge IT a flat marketing fee to be included in our matching program. That payment does not create a promise, endorsement, warranty, agency relationship, or partnership between NodeBridge IT and any provider.

If you contact or hire a provider, your relationship is directly with that provider, not with us. Their proposal, statement of work, invoice, privacy terms, and service agreement are separate from NodeBridge IT. We are not a party to those contracts.

You may use this site only for lawful business research and contact purposes. You may not use the site to submit false information, impersonate another business, interfere with the site, scrape content in bulk, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its systems.

Please also review our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, which help explain how we handle information and how to read the material on this site.

Limitation of liability and updates to these terms

To the fullest extent allowed by law, NodeBridge IT is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site, your reliance on site content, your communications with any provider, or any services you receive from a provider. This includes loss of revenue, lost data, business interruption, or security incidents.

We also are not liable for delays, outages, website errors, broken links, or information that becomes outdated over time. We try to keep the site useful and current, but we cannot promise that every page will always be complete, accurate, or available.

We may update these terms from time to time by posting a revised version on this page. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms. If you have questions about these terms, contact us at hello@nodebridgeit.com or visit our Contact page.
